About Me.

I am currently a Human Factors Engineer at  Apple Inc. in Cupertino, CA. My PhD research focused on the intersection between facial expression, emotion modeling, and human-robot interactions. I also held a Master’s degree (Psychology), and two Bachelor’s degrees (Statistics & Psychology). I’m passionate about bridging engineering, AI and human behaviors in two folds.

1) Drive better engineering and AI with mixed-methods research and analytics

2) Understand human behaviors with novel techniques

I previously worked for Futronics NA Corp (a UBTECH Robotics company) and Meta (Formerly Facebook). I occassionally serve on organizing committees for IEEE/RAS conferences, or take on mentoring or career coaching jobs for people navigating jobs or research projects.
